The wilderness has a way of teaching 快適さが教えてくれないことを、what comfort never can.
A six-day learning expedition on Hokkaido's wild coast for children aged 7 to 18. Real challenges, solved by the children themselves, with expert guides beside them every step.7〜18歳の子どもたちのための、北海道の手つかずの海岸を舞台にした6日間の学びの遠征。
Adventure grows with you.
Children aged 7 to 18 can join the same six-day session. We plan separate small groups around ages 7–10, 11–14 and 15–18, with activities and responsibilities adjusted to age and experience. Groups share the camp community while exploring with peers at a similar stage.
Some things can only be learned 自分の身体でしか、with your own hands.
The wild gives children a place to try, to notice, and to discover what they can do.

Children today can know almost anything from a screen. But there are things no screen or classroom can teach.
Nature does not always go to plan. There is tiredness, fear, and failure, and moments no one can get through alone. With experienced guides nearby, children meet the right kind of challenge and learn to respond for themselves.
Climb. Paddle. Try. Help a friend. Discover how far you can go.
We don't believe education means keeping children away from every risk. It means giving them real experiences, with the right level of risk, 適切なリスクと本物の体験の中で、where they think, act, and overcome for themselves.
Challenge
A real task set by the landscape, sized to each child's age and ability.
Reflect
Field journals and an evening circle where children name what worked, what didn't, and why.
Apply活かす
The next morning, they carry that lesson into a harder challenge.
Six principles,
earned in the field.
These are more than words on a wall. Children practise them in real moments each day, then put what they noticed into words at reflection.
Perseverance
Keep going through difficulty, one step or paddle stroke at a time.
Leadership
Take initiative, listen to others, and help the group move forward.
Courage勇気
Try something unfamiliar and try again after a setback.
Social awareness
Notice how others are doing and offer help when it is needed.
Anticipation
Read the weather, terrain, and next steps so you can prepare before acting.
Responsibility責任
Own your choices, care for your gear, and keep your commitments to the group.
Six days, six lessons.6
Each day builds on the last, moving from guided teamwork toward independence.

Basecamp
Children meet their team and guides, pack their own expedition bag, learn knots and map reading, and write a personal goal in their field journal. By preparing for what lies ahead and taking care of their own gear, they practise anticipation and responsibility.

- To own their choices
- To trust a new group
The sea海
Children learn the first kayak strokes in a sheltered bay, then paddle in pairs beneath the sea cliffs near Iwanai before a coastal hike. Trying a new activity builds courage; noticing a partner’s pace and needs builds social awareness.

- To move in sync with a partner
- Water safety
The mountain山
Children check their own bikes, practise braking and balance, then ride forest trails, taking turns to lead the group and choose the line. Looking ahead on the trail develops anticipation, while leading a turn and caring for equipment develop leadership and responsibility.
- To weigh risk before acting
- To pace their energy
- To encourage others
The group spends the day hiking coastal trails. Children read the terrain, pace themselves, and notice how their companions are doing. Guides adjust the route to the group’s conditions. The long walk builds perseverance and social awareness.

- To support one another on the trail

Building on what they learned earlier in the week, children paddle a longer stretch of the coast with their guides. They read the wind and water, keep pace with their partners, and make decisions together. Taking turns to guide the pair builds leadership, while adapting to the sea builds courage and anticipation.

- To communicate clearly with a partner
- To adapt to changing conditions together
Children write down what they have been thinking, which moments stayed with them, and where they feel they have grown. In a final group reflection, each child can share what they choose and consider what they will carry home. They look back on all six principles and take responsibility for how they will use what they learned next.

Our guides help children find their own answers. Away from screens, they can feel the sea and mountains for themselves, work with others, and discover what they are capable of.
Dan Yoder
I'm Dan. In nature, children get moments to make their own choices and look out for one another. I want to give them room to try, while staying close enough to support each next step.
Nick Greiner
I'm Nick. Out on the water, the wind and waves do not follow a screen or a script. I hope children discover the joy of using their senses, finding their rhythm, and moving forward with a partner.

Tomoya Abe
I'm Tomoya. A walk in the mountains or a shared task at camp can show a child that their effort matters to the whole group. I want them to try something new and return home knowing they can do more than they thought.
